How a K–8 School Expanded Reading Intervention Access by 39% and Strengthened Literacy Outcomes
A K–8 school partnered with New School Consulting to address declining reading performance and increase access to intervention services. Through a comprehensive reading intervention audit and data-driven restructuring of intervention groups, the school expanded literacy support to 73 additional students, increased intervention access by 39%, and observed positive shifts in DIBELS reading outcomes—all without adding intervention staff.
